Deal Leisure Centre Development Project

Introduction

Dover District Council has been developing exciting plans for building a brand new facility, working with Development Partner Alliance Leisure. The development is set to deliver a modern health, wellbeing and fitness facility to meet the needs of Deal and surrounding areas.

Proposed works

The concept designs for the new Deal Leisure Centre include a much wider range of state-of-the-art sport and leisure facilities. A list of activity areas proposed in the new centre  is shown below, and further consideration is also being given to a six-lane pool and ways to develop leisure activities in and around the pool.

  • A five-lane, 25m swimming pool 
  • Family fun inflatable splash
  • Pool viewing space in the cafe
  • Gym with 100 exercise stations 
  • Two studios 
  • Immersive spin studio 
  • Café 
  • New reception with retail
  • Innerva suite (toning room)- providing a dedicated space for older people to exercise
